Mandatory Requirements

All applicants to Positive Pathways must meet essential requirements to ensure the safety, professionalism, and quality of service delivery. These include holding relevant industry qualifications (such as social work, community services, youth work, early childhood, psychology, or education) and maintaining a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check.

Staff are also required to hold up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification, along with current Child Protection training, to ensure they are prepared to respond appropriately in all situations involving children and families.

As this is often a mobile service role, applicants must have an active ABN, a current driver’s licence, and access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance. Access to a mobile phone and internet is also required to support communication, reporting, and service coordination. These requirements ensure staff are equipped to work safely, independently, and in line with best practice standards.
